Water bottles can cause a fire?

As crazy as that may sound, that water bottle you carry in your car to cool you off, could end up roasting your vehicle.

Though the risk is low, under certain conditions, the water in the bottle can act as a magnifying glass for the Sun light. At minimum, you could end up with a burn mark in your interior. But if luck is not on your side, with the right cabin temperature and Sun light intensity, that burn mark can turn into a fire.

The solution is simple, keep those water bottles stowed away, either in the glove compartment or center console.
